Portability changed the frame, never the physics. At the center of the S.E.A.D. sits the same instrument every build has carried since 1994 — an Air Core Resonant Transformer, a Tesla coil, exciting sealed inert gases into plasma. Argon, krypton, xenon, and neon, held in the Carousel, rising around the tall center quartz tube.
It is deliberately analog. No electronic spark gap, no Wi-Fi, no firmware between you and the field. In our experience the analog coil carries harmonics the digital versions lose — and an instrument with nothing to update is an instrument that simply works, in any room, for decades.
